Tomato.

Our first cherry tomato.

While my mom was in town last month she helped my pick out and plant a few cherry tomato plants. I'd like to of panted an entire garden in the back, but with two boys, a dog and the Houston insects, I opted to wait until either next year or until we move somewhere else. In the meantime, we decided cherry tomatoes would be easy enough and protectedin a high pot. Our three little plants have finally started to bloom and grow. This weekend we picked our first two tomatoes. Neither boy wanted to eat them, they would rather walk around with them clutched in their little hands like balls.
