This is the conversation I had with Mike tonight at about 10:30.
Me: "It seems like everyone else is commenting about how skinny other people are looking. I've been working really hard and no one tells me that I'm looking good after having a baby."
Background: The oven preheat timer goes off, "Beep - Beep - Beep"
Mike: "Did you turn the oven on?"
Me: "Yeah, I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies."
Mike: Laughter.
Me: "Well shoot, no wonder."
(Sidenote- Yes, I know this is a bit self indulgent and I'm not searching for compliments, but don't we all have moments like this, when we seek a little reassurance. )

Hey there skinny! If I didn't say so already, you look great! If anything, my jealousy overtook me and I forgot. But, it's true! You look fantastic!
I think you look great, but then again people ask me all the time if I'm pregant and I'm NOT! And we all deserve chocolate chip cookies! For me it was chocoalte chip banana bread last night! Delish!

You are so funny Angie. I am with you on the Chickfila, cookies, and COKE!!!! I am addicted to all 3. I know you are not looking for compliments, but I have to tell you,” You look GREAT!!!" You are one of the LUCKY ones. You can have a baby and the next day look like you were never pregnant!!! I am truly jealous of that!!!! When you say on your blog that you go to the gym, I always think to myself, "Why does she go to the gym, she is so skinny!!!"
I love that story. It reminds me of Dusty and me. We go work out and then go eat a burger afterwards. So, cheers to the cookies, coke and chickfila :) :)
Hmmmm, I would post that you look fantastic but it's difficult since you NEVER post pictures of yourself! LOL I bet you look fantastic.
