Mike opened up the mail last week to find a very special letter just for me... from Harris County. Hmmm... that's right, I got jury duty. I remember last year when Mike got called for jury duty being a little jealous because I'd never had the honor. So now that the tables are turned, I'm not so excited. To my relief, on the back side of the summons is a handy little section entitled "exemptions." I'm happy to report I am exempt. Thanks for my SAHM status and 10 month old baby. Carter just saved me a trip to downtown and the courthouse for atleast a very long day.

The same thing happened to me 2 years ago. I was so happy that Tammy saved me from that. How are you doing? We survived spring break...your mom and I took all 8 kids on a hike and to the river on Friday. Take care
Yay for babies! You'll be exempt for a while - whew, you dodged that bullet.
Lucky you! I also got a jury summons and thought surely I would be exempt. Afterall - college students are exempt. But no - a college instructor is not exempt. Urgh.
You are lucky. I think jury duty would be so hard and time consuming. My mom has done it and loved it, but don't sign me up!
Once all my kids are in school, I'd love to serve jury duty. I wonder if it's really like all of those tv court dramas!?!
Saved you from the long time in traffic, time finding parking, waiting in lines...
Jim was chosen recently and had to serve for a few days. It was a car accident where someone was on their cellphone...Jim enjoyed it and felt like he really contributed.
I'm just glad I'm exempt too!
thats so funny-I got a letter last week too! maybe we would have been on the same jury-darnnit!
